9. What requirements are necessary to become licensed in North Carolina?

600 Hour Esthetician Program:
The student that completes the 600 clock hour Esthetician Training will receive a Diploma from the Academy. To receive their Esthetician License, the student must submit, through the Academy, an application to the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts, along with a check or money order in the amount of $20 and pass the written and practical portions of the State Board Exam.
