Dermacademy’s elite curriculum is approved by the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts. Upon completion of this program, graduates are eligible for licensure as a NC Esthetician. We know our program isn’t designed for everyone, but for those seeking to be the most well-rounded skin care therapists in North Carolina, we offer requirements that far exceed those mandated by state licensure.

Instructional staff includes NC Licensed instructors, licensed estheticians, and business and social media experts.

Our curriculum includes instruction in the fundamental core topics of esthetics as well as the most advanced topics in treatments, technology, ingredients and equipment. Intense classroom theory is paired with hours of hands on practical application in each category of facial and body care and equipment application. We also include a segment on lash extensions and lash lifts and daily training on business building techniques.

We have partnered with Pivot Point International, a 50-year veteran in the cosmetology school industry. In addition to their curriculum focused textbooks, study guide, and state board exam prep you also receive an 18 month access to your Pivot Point online classroom.

Additionally, we are a Dermalogica partner school. This means a curriculum overlay of their materials and integration of their state-of-the-art products!
